Type locality: Pangani, Tanzania
Diagnosis
Differs from other Lestes with tips of cerci bent distinctly downwards, rather than towards each other, by the relatively flat and pale cerci, the slender apical process of the paraprocts, and the relatively short Pt (1.0-1.5 mm).
Habitat description
Standing and often temporary waters in open landscapes or shaded by gallery forest. Usually with emergent and often aquatic vegetation. From 0 to 1800 m above sea level.
