Diagnosis

Male is similar to other Pseudagrion B species by (a) apex of S10 bearing black denticles. However, P. glaucum is entirely set apart from the rest by (1) less widespread, and being restricted to forests from DRC to W Africa; (2) cerci with notched apex, much shorter and smaller than paraprocts (lateral view); (3) cerci with long internal tooth near base (dorsal view), rather than only often having a small basal tooth. Habitat description

Standing waters, rivers and streams in open areas in forest. Often with coarse detritus, a sandy and/or soft (like muddy) bottom, and probably emergent vegetation and/or overhanging branches. From 0 to 700 m above sea level.
