Type locality: Kivu, Maniema, Kibombo, DRC
Diagnosis
Near N. cocytius, N. uelensis and N. zambeziensis, but the single poorly preserved male specimen from the Upper Congo near Kibombo has rather dense venation (17 Ax in forewing and 12-13 in hindwing vs. 11-16 and 8-11) and small forewing pterostigmas (2.3-2.5 mm vs. up to 3.6). Habitat description
Not known, but possibly rivers in open areas in forest. Probably often with a soft (like muddy) bottom. Recorded at around 600 m above sea level.
